Pregnancy’s and life

Being a mom of four you can just imagine the choas that is in my home on a daily bases. I can tell you had I known in advance of this I may have thought differently about spacing my last two. Although how can you space a surprise pregnancy right?
First pregnancy at the age of 19 I did everything my mom told me to do. If I knew
then what I know now things would of went much differently. All turned out ok with that episode of my life. Ended in divorce. Became a single mom working all hours just to support me and my son and going to college to get an education to make life better for the both of us. It was wonderful to have a college education paid in full and then get an extra income check from them as well as a bonus to studying so hard and doing so well. Made it worth while.

My 2nd child the easiest of births. She was adopted. Came to me from a family member and you’d never know it to look at her. She’s an entertainer and marches to her own beat. Had I know then what I know now girls are certainly different than boys when it comes to raising them.

My 3rd child came after a wedding, a house, a new car and months of treatment and testing through a fertility clinic for re-accurant miscarriages. Finding a answer to my problems with a aspirin a day and estrogen supplement til 12-14 weeks ment that I was finally going to get my baby after having 6 miscarriages. You could just imagine the joy that my husband and I had been feeling at that time. First 20 weeks were very touch and go and we just never knew if we definately were having a baby until that 20w u/s that unveiled a new load of worries that weren’t put to rest til’ he was born. Born at 41w perfectly healthy and an easy going baby. Today he’s a wild active 3 yr old with a vocabulary of a truck driver. But that’s a blog for another day.

4th and final blessing was a surprise as I mentioned before. I guess if we were using some sort of protection maybe he wouldn’t be here but here’s proof pull out and pray doesn’t always work. This child arrives at 39w screaming from the moment he was born and has barely stopped since being born. Suffering from reflux, colic, eczema and three other siblings this poor baby has not got it good so far. He has a heart melting smile when he does find something funny about life.
