I saw this in a google and thought I’d confess with my own list:
25 Things that make me a Bad Mom
- I let me children stay up til all hours of the night
- I let them sleep in
- I let my daughter eat a pretzels for lunch everyday
- I don’t always make a vegetable with dinner
- I don’t give my children a bath every night
- I’m a pack rat and can’t sort through their toys so we keep them all
- I hide from them in the bathroom and say I’m going when I’m not
- I sneak the last icecream bar down to the laundry room so I don’t have to share
- I don’t always help my daughter with her home work I let daddy do it
- I don’t monitor their television time and keep it on all day long
- We eat out often which means I don’t cook too much
- I act like I’m sleeping if they want me to get up and get them a drink
- I ask them to leave me alone while I talk on the phone
- Don’t like taking them all shopping with me so I wait when I can go alone
- I don’t always in force the rules and tend to be lax on punishment
- I tell them the cartoons are taking a nap so I can watch my shows
- I sneak of to another room with hubby to get in some couple time
- I take extra time to myself for reading blogs instead of making lunch when I should
- I don’t wash clothes everyday
- I have a bad habit of eating the last of the cookies
Shhhh…….Dont’ tell the kids I told them Daddy ate them.
That’s my confession. I’m sure I have more but its almost 11p and my children are still a wake

I think we’re all in the same boat! I let the TV entertain my daughter in the mornings while I sleep in, I hate to cook so she practally lives off of chicken nuggets and hot dogs, and I don’t brush her teeth everyday like I should.
We all have our downfalls!
Now if you put, “– but I love my children and I would do anything for them, and would give up what I need to to make them more comfortable or make them well”, then that wouldn’t make you such a bad mom would it? For I know one thing, I’ve seen your mom chores, and what you’ve done with your babies, and when I grow up I want to be a Mommy just like you. Love, Mom

If that defines a bad mom, then we are bad together. If I didn’t know better, I would think you had written that list about me.
Sometimes I hide from Jackson. He will sit in the floor/playpen/exersaucer ALL DAY and just play until he sees me. Then he cries until I pick him up. Bad mommy. LOL
