Its been a few weeks and even well over a month on somethings that I won and I’m wondering whats Going on. I wonder how many of you have won things and never received them. I hate bothering Bloggers because they already do so much by putting the giveaway together, contacting and sending etc.
There are several things I’m waiting on. NO emails to say why they are delayed or when they shall arrive.
I won a Blog Makeover well over 3months ago From A BLOG(name deleted) and corresponded with company threw several emails then gave my choice and then Nothing no response email after no blog makeover either.
Still waiting on a Flor Rug I won well over 6 weeks ago and I contacted the blog owner I won it from and she’s still awaiting a response too.
There are several other things like a Skin care kit (around Fathers Day I think)I won from A BLOG (name deleted) I haven’t received that yet.
and a Organic company was going to send me a kit to try out on Cranky pants eczema. I received a letter that it was coming but still nothing. update-still coming 
NOW I know our Mail stinks but come ON. I have received other things in the past 2 weeks that I just won within 3-4 days of winning and here they are at my door.
Do I just say OH well and forget about it or What would you do?

The Blogs have no idea that the giveaway has not or was not followed through. Except the one I mentioned but didn’t tell you who it was! Yeah, I won an ipod shuffle at FNL towards the first of June have yet to receive it. Still waiting. I know the sponsor has been contacted though so hopefully soon!
That sucks, Night Owl Mama, truly it does. I've never entered a giveaway but I did run two contests on my blog; one was a $25 online gift certificate that I sent to the winner the same day and the second was a contest I ran that was sponsored by MOMSWEB…the owner contacted the winner the same day and sent out the prize–two free movie tickets to the theater of her choice.

I would email the blogger and email the giveaway company. I did a few giveaways and contacted the winner within 24 hours and then created and sent their item within 7 days. Hopefully they will at least respond back to you to say it’s coming or something.

Don't feel like you are bugging the blogger, it's their responsibility to make sure the company they are working with follows through.
I am still waiting for a few, too. I give them a couple weeks then make contact and that usually works. Some send out once a month or so. 24/7 Mom says twice monthly but I'm waiting on mine there, too. Been about 1 1/2 months.

Well, being a blogger that does do giveaways, we are at the mercy of our sponsors. I haven't had one person that has contacted me that has not received their prize. However, I have had a few that were really late at sending and I had to send several emails.
Do I think you should contact the blogger? Yes! Do I think you should bash the blogger on your blog? NO!
I never purposely entered a blog giveaway but I accidentally did a couple of times and I won and received the items. I guess I don't really care if I win or not so I probably wouldn't care if I got anything or not. But I wouldn't have a problem asking someone. And I know that some bloggers really do take a very long time to actually mail things out. I'm not sure why, but I know that it happens.
I won a prize from MAM from Are Muffins Just Ugly Cupcakes clear back on April 27th and have not yet received it from the company, which is supposed to be sending it to me. Claire from Ugly Cupcakes says that I will get her next unclaimed prize. My SIL (AuntRene) has not received her rug that she won either. I had some that it took along time to receive and I just kept emailing them over and over. I also won a prize back in April that I did not receive until 2 weeks ago. My theory if you are going to have a giveaway then make sure you keep on the company that is supposed to be shipping out the prizes. Good luck receiving you wins.
Well that sucks that you aren't receiving your prizes! It's exciting to win something but then not to receive it? I think I would email the bloggers again just incase they have sent it and it's lost in the mail?

I've won things that have never shown up too. I'll contact once and then give it up as a loss.
There's definitely a difference in how quickly sponsors send out their prizes. Most bloggers nowadays have the sponsors send the prizes directly (at least I do)so you're kind of at their mercy and hope they follow through quickly.
But, yes, even with large corporate giveaways, there are times when a prize never shows up. It's sad but it happens.
Wow, I couldn't imagine hosting a give away and not sending it the DAY the person won.
My word is all I have of value and that to me is worth MILLIONS.
One reason I rarely if ever enter a give away is because I never really win, and 2 I don't feel comfy giving out my home address.
I wish you luck maybe it takes time to get it from the companies who promised them to begin with? I wish I could be more positive =X

Yup, I've actually had times where I never receive my winnings.
On time it took 4 months for me to get a necklace I won and I think I only got it because I nagged her. It's my hope necklace I really was looking forward to.
It's hard, I mean, it's "free" so you don't wanna nag them, ya know?
I've never won a blog giveaway but since I do sweeps all the time, I get antsy. I just won $100 tonight and in the rules it says I won't get it til like December! *gasp*
I thought I was the only one! I won a couple of giveaways that I never received. I've forgotten which blogs they were from so I kinda dismissed the whole thing.
