Milestone: We have Words

I was getting a little worried. I thought that My Cranky Pants was falling behind. He is now over 20 months old as of the 19 of this month. So far the only words we have heard from him are “Mama” and “Da”.

In the past week. We now says “Yah”, No,
yesterday: “Mama I did it!”
today: My Daddy, “What’s That”, “Ready, set, go!” .
Now pronunciation isn’t the greatest but I still know what he is saying. A mama always knows.   Well most of the time.

Way to go Baby boy. Mama loves you.
Like the Bin he’s sitting in check out my giveaway for GlammaToys

My little girl didn't talk until she was about this age too. I was worried just like you…but now at 2.5 I can't keep her quiet! I love it!
    Congrats on this exciting milestone!

I think it is amazing how it seems that some of the little ones save up their words until they can surprise you with sentences?

Awww! So cute! My little one is 17 months and we are just starting to get to that phase where almost every day he's adding a new word to his vocabulary! So exciting!

Thanks for stopping by to visit my blog! Such a cute picture – It is so easy to worry about when our children hit their "milestones"… It is amazing how, for the most part, they do everything in THEIR own time!

Love that you live in Chicago – We lived there for three years and REALLY miss it!

I can't wait to hear my munchkin move beyond "mamamama and dad-t" (he puts a "t" at the end of "dad"). Congrats on this milestone! Such a cutie you have.

That's awesome! So happy for you all. The words will just start flying now. I had the same worry with my son, but once he got it he was chattin' it up!
