Nick Jr’s Olivia 2-in-1 Play Set Doll House and Plush Olivia Review

“Olivia! Olivia! Olivia! Olivia, Olivia, Olivia!” Nick Jr. Olivia fan’s are going to be so excited to see Olivia Toys have hit the stores. That ever so lovable little Pig now has fun new toy line that will sure to delight Olivia Fans every where.

Olivia’s is right at home or out on a Pirate adventure in this Olivia 2-in-1 Play Set Doll House by Spin Master,  that switches in a snap. The doll house is very much like the show scene’s you see on television series. It comes with furniture to arrange in different rooms and a mast, a little parrot for the pirate while on the pirate ship and so much more.  These tiny piece are perfect for  little hands.

When we first saw the house it doesn’t look like much. From the outside it appears to only come with a few pieces. When we opened the package it was full of delightful surprises. Not only was this a sweet doll house with 2 stories and 3 rooms full of fun, but flip it over in amazement you’ll discover a pirate ship!  2 Levels of pirate ship and a level with sea and beach scenery. I think this is so cute!

The 2-in-1 Play Set has 1 Olivia figure that does not stand on her own she needs a base. The base disappeared within seconds of opening the package. There are many tiny little pieces with this doll house so it certainly isn’t for little one younger than 3 yrs old. You get Olivia, 23 accessories and stickers, too.  We were really surprised on the amount of accessories that come along with Olivia, but disappointed that no other characters were included in the set. It’s kinda hard to play with a doll house when you only have 1 doll. My daughter actually said, “I think Olivia’s going to be lonely living all alone.”

Olivia doll house opens with a slide of a latch and locks closed. It has a convenient carrying handle for on the go travel.       

The kids had lots of fun setting up the house, but they soon lost interest. Shortly after all the girls walked away my nephew walked over and sat down. He flipped over the house made the switch and turned it into a pirate ship and set it up for play. Then my son came over. He was looking for a character to play too. Since there was only one he stood up and walked away.  My nephew played for a while longer and says he that he really liked it. We certainly hope there are more characters available to live with Olivia and travel on the high sea’s with her. We would hate for her to go on adventures alone.
