New Things In Store For The Night Owl Mama in 2011

I can’t express enough the excitement that I feel about moving my blog over to WordPress. A big jump for me. I think that moving my Blog Night Owl Mama to the next level can only be a good thing for me and that I’ve found a place that I’m comfortable in my life right now. I have to say that when I first started blogging I was trying to hold on to a piece of the outside world that  I was no long in touch with.  Having four kids is pretty difficult but having 2 of those kids under the age of 3 at the time was challenging for me along with maintaining my household. I have to admit that for a while there things were really over whelming and finding some really great friendships and blogs that shared similar interest that I had was very relieving.

I attended my first Bloggers meeting this past month downtown and it was really exciting meeting several bloggers that I met on line.  I had my first face to face contact with PR and I can tell that was absolutely a very nervous yet exciting experience as well.  They are eager to share just as we are as eager to learn about what products and company’s they promote. I can only imagine what it would be like to make it to a large conference like Blogher. Blogher2011 will be coming in August and I hope to make it although my chances are slim to non unless I can get an Sponsor or two.  I don’t need for a company to pay my whole way I’m willing to offer services and work for it. I am a blogger. I promote company’s and products to help increase online awareness and in social media to increase sales.

Where do I see The Night Owl Mama in the next year. I see growth. I see company and brand loyalty. There are many products that I’ve tested out over the past year and it’s exciting to test things. Many of them I would of never picked off a shelf myself unless I was offered this opportunity. Many of which I’m excited to of found a product that is so wonderful I’ve continued to use and now purchase and recommend that product to family and friends. I would say that’s brand loyalty.  I see a lot more video reviews. I get a bit camera shy from time to time but I truly enjoy sharing my thoughts on video. I think a video review can tell a lot more about a product than a written review and  many times a video review will set my review apart from so many other bloggers out there who chose to share by only written words and high resolution company photo or two.

I have a really exciting project coming up the first of the year and I can’t wait to “Kinect for Fun”
and share. It means new things for me and my family as we share good times and fun being a family. After all we probably don’t spend enough time laughing and having fun like we should. Your going to love this I know it! I’m hoping to get some fun participation and maybe even some really great giveaways to go along with it. Wouldn’t that be fun?
