It’s so important to take tiny steeps to to go green for the health of your family and especially your children. It’s the little things that we can accomplish now that will make it easier on the whole family. Our bedroom makeover’s is currently our summer project. So far I’ve moved my son out of his room and put all of his things in my living room…..there’s a mess, painted the room pink for my daughter… Wow it’s soo PINK, washed the carpet… ps. I love my Hoover and moved her furniture in. The next step is the same process of painting her old room and moving our furniture in there. Then painting the last bedroom, which will be for my boys and moving all their toys from the living room up to their bedroom. My living room has been their toy room for the last 5 yrs time to move it out and take back our space.
I love the Ecofriendly Green IT Yourself Tips from Green Works. My 5 yr old has many allergies and they offer some really great tips on getting back to the basics. No drapers, use blinds. Olympic VOC paint. and so much more. They not only have tips for cutting down allergies but you’ll find great tips for reducing chemicals in the kitchen, going allergen free in the babies room, bathroom and family room tips too. I love that they are all in VIDEO’s, so no reading and they explain each tip with visuals. Just click play and watch away!! You’ll find a lot of great tips and be glad you did.
You’ll find this video and so many more on Clorox Green Works facebook page at www.facebook.com/greenworks. It’s a four room series with simple ways to green up your home-with styles to spare.
