My Baby is Growing up too Fast

I can’t get over how fast my little is growing. Not so much getting taller or gaining weight but hitting milestones.  He’ll be four in March and this year he’s accomplished so much. He’s learned how to talk so much better. He’s expressing independence and not needing me so much anymore. (I may need counseling- I thought he’d need me forever)  And this past weekend we bought him his very first Bike! A Lightening Mc Queen Huffy from Toys R Us.

We went to Walmart and they didn’t have 1 12′  boys bike for sale. NOT ONE!  We called 3 stores. Nothing! So against my will I was forced to go to Toys R Us and purchase this one. It was $15 more expensive than Walmart’s price but it was in stock and already put together so I caved in.  Not sure how many week days we have left of nice weather and I wanted him to enjoy it before the cold set in.

First day he looked down at his feet most of the time. He soon caught on how the pedals worked.

And away he went

My very 1st bike was a pink HUFFY with  square seat.  Huffy’s sure have come a long way. Almost 40 yrs later look at my baby go. He’s growing up way too fast. The next thing ya know I’ll be writing about how he wanted those training wheels off. Oh My!
