The XFactor USA is certainly proving to be interesting. Wednesday night and Thursday night are the final two episodes of The U.S Xfactor Auditions. Similar to American Idol with 4 panel of judges and singing competition full of good singers and bad. The one major difference is the contestants sing in front of a Live audience on stage instead of a little room with just the judges and a camera crew. Tonight’s competition pulled several audience favorites and proved to be worthy to move on to the XFACTOR Hollywood competition.
Starting off the night in my hometown Chicago is Makenna and Brock best friends from Springfield Missouri. This cute little couple have a vocal that harmonizes together singing Colder Weather.
I hope she see’s the show and see’s how much he really cares for her. I wonder if she feels the same for him but doesn’t want to make a move for fear of losing a singing career with eachother. They were just beautiful together and I honestly don’t like Country.
Several of the acts after this aren’t worth mentioning. Always worth a good laugh but sometimes you just want to leave the room or do some channel surfing.
Skylar Anderson from Memphis TN had some technical difficulty during his performance. The music cut out and he only paused for a moment but continued to sing. Very Professional.
LA Reed said “So Love your Uniqueness. Its a Yes.”
The next guy out was a technical geek. Jay InMann. Half the stuff he mumbled was confusing and he seemed like more of a comedian to me. He was an okay singer and I certainly didn’t expect them to put him through but they did.
LA Reid says, “Sounded so bad but felt so good.” HA. That was funny and yet so true.
I suppose they are going to have to send some bad one’s through so hey can send that handfull home next week.
Loving Simon and Paula Chemistry at this point. It’s like Lightening. You never know when they’ll strike at eachother. Quite comical
Josh Krajcik from Columbus Ohio was one of my favorites for the night. He works in a Burrito Restaurant which I think is kinda funny. I honestly think if you cleaned this guy up he’d be a lot better presentable. He’s kinda looks like a drunk in a bar from the end of the night but I think it’s all an appearance act and L.A Reid caught on too “This is a Before look”.
His voice reminded me of Eric Clapton a bit brushy. I’d love to hear him sing “Layla”. He sang “AT Last”, which I think is really old fashion but certainly worked for him. Have a listen.
Did you see his Mama? She was insanely excited!! I loved that.
They went on to Seattle after that for more auditions. The beginning of this point was so laughable. You could of certainly left the room for a break and a snack.
During today’s show Nichole and Paula are clicking. They have the same thoughts about singers and have been offering the same advice on singers. Most of the time I agree with them.
Drew Ryniewicz who is 14 yrs old. She sang “Baby” by Justin Bieber. She has her own rendition and sounded really unique. Here ya go have a listen
I loved her family’s reaction after she was done singing. You can certainly tell they were all overwhelmed with Joy that she did so well.
Did you catch the Pepsi MAX commercial that came on after this. They had store employees building different architecture pieces out of the soda boxes. Snoop dog was in this commercial very entertaining. Did I ever mention I’m a PEPSI Drinker! It’s my Morning caffeine kick.
Peet Montzingo is out after that and he’s really unique. Both his parents are dwarfs and he’s 6ft tall. he’s charming, funny and entertaining but he’s NOT a singer. I think he’d do well in a comedy sitcom.
Next out is a group of guys. 4 SURE They come out with a bold move to sing a song L.A Reed wrote himself. “End of the Road” by Boyz To men. For me they started off really well but I can hear that there was 1 member of the group who was a little off tone or key of sorts. As they went on they sounded a little bitter. They were put through with 4 Yes.
Elaine Gibbs is out after them. She’s a 53 year old Grandmother. She sings and gets 4 yes.
The show turned into Speed auditions and they went through several singers. Thank goodness cause some of them obviously were worth playing the whole audition. Its nice when they move it along a bit so the show doesn’t last 4 hours.
21 yr old Phillip LoMax from Seattle. Has the energy of a super star. He’s excited to be there and loves to rev up the crowd. I love his hat and his smile is melting.
Didn’t you just love him? He beams with confidence. A bit of an old feel with his rendition of Frank Sinatra’s Fly me To the Moon. Simon says, “He’s Interesting.” He gets put through with 4 Yes’
L.A Reid and Simon now have a new saying. When someone walks out and just by appearance they give them a D.O.A. Not sure what that is all about but it seems quite comical. They certainly don’t get put through.
Last girl out is Delly Clark. She has some Huge red lips and one of those crazy hair bumps on top of her head. She sings and both Paula and Nichole say No way. She was a bit pitchy. She shows up with no background music and for some reason Simon and L.A Reid like her. I mean they really Like her. She sings 1 more song and certainly sounded a bit better so Nichole gives in and lets her go through. I thought for sure Paula would of let Simon have his way.
I absolutely love uncandid camera back stage reactions of the family and the contestants. I think this ads a genuine reality to the show that the public has to just love. Be sure to stop by again on Friday for Thursday’s recap of Thursday night, the last night of Auditions of The XFACTOR US on Fox 7pm CST.

Josh Krajcik made me cry – I want someone like him to win – That cocky jerk was annoying forget his name but I hope he’s the first off.
I just can’t get into it for some reason. It just feels like America’s Got Talent which I only watch when there is nothing on and nothing to catch up on my DVR. I did like the duo though but feel bad cuz he’s clearly in love with her and she doesn’t feel the same way.
I can’t stand reality shows anymore.
