White Castles. Whitey’s. Sliders. Mighty 1 bites. Castles. No matter what you call them you know everyone loves them.  For lunch, for dinner for 2am munchie runs White Castles has  been a family favorite for generations and will be for generations to come. They have been around for 90 years and have managed to expand all over the U.S.  Late night muchies always got us cravin’ a case and the sack packs and 100 slider cases make the best Football games and Super Bowl Party snacks.

What about for Breakfast?  Did you know White Castles now serves Breakfast?

Who would of thought that White Castles can jump on the breakfast wagon and make a good Egg and Cheese on a castle bun.  From the moment I heard I was intrigued.  I wanted to know what breakfast items could White Castles add and offer on the menu and would they be worth the drive.  The new fresh breakfast start at Midnight and for all you late night 3rd shift workers or early morning shift starters it’s just what the appetite ordered!

Here’s what’s new on the Breakfast Menu at White Castles:

  • Sausage Egg and Cheese (served on a bun or toast)
  • Bacon Egg and Cheese (served on a bun or toast)
  • Egg and Cheese (served on bun or toast)
  • Sausage and Cheese (served on bun or toast)
  • Hash Rounds
  • French Toast Sticks

We ordered 1 of everything on the Breakfast menu to taste them and give our opinion.  I have to say that I was really impressed with the amount of egg on the sandwiches and how fresh they tasted.   I ate the Bacon, egg and cheese and hubby had the Sausage egg and cheese. He also commented on how fresh the sandwiches tasted and that they were  “really good”.  We all loved the french toast sticks and the tiny bite sized hash rounds were delicious and offered plenty to share in the box.

I’m really impressed with the new breakfast meals offered at White Castles. I hope this isn’t a fade and they remain on the menu for years to come. Give them a try you won’t be disappointed. I would pass up any fast food locations that offer breakfast and go out of my way for White Castles breakfast sandwiches and french toast sticks. They are that good. I’ve always been a breakfast eater and just love that I know have a new favorite location to stop for a healthy hot fresh breakfast when I’m on a tight schedule and have no time to cook.

    I would like to try the bacon, egg and cheese on toast. I would love to give this to my husband for Christmas. He loves White Castle “sliders”. We live 45 minutes from White Castle, but every so often we make a special trip to satisfy his cravings.
