Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam (review with photos)

Advanced auto parts Monster Jam with Monster Truck freestyling and racing, snowmobile stunt jumps and Four wheeler racing event is fun for the whole family. My husbands has always been known as a gear head. He loves anything that has to do with racing a motorized vehicle. He’s raced go karts since he was a kid and is looking forward to getting our boys into racing. The Monster Jam Monster Trucks show at the Allstate arena certainly was a treat. Watching Monster Jam on television has always been one thing the kids have loved but seeing them live in person just gave them a whole new experience.

Over-sized vehicles with big monsterly oversized tires in a charactered themed Monster trucks are not only great to look at but they are mesmerizing to watch. They are hard to take your eyes off of because you just don’t know what’s going to happen next. My 6 year old was so surprised when he saw how big they were. He said to me, “Mom!! WOW! Look how big those tires are. How they get so big?” He just couldn’t believe it. My daughter loved the different themed trucks she especially loved that there was a female driver and made a point to say how much she loved watching all the stunts.

and here’s the Monster Truck she drives. The Dalmatian Truck is my 3 yr old favorite

Notice how big the trucks! That’s an actual announcer standing there.

There was never a dull moment. The All-state arena takes brakes to change out the scenery and flowed through with each new transition. When the trucks are running for the stunts show you do get a bit overwhelmed with the noise but a ear plugs and ear covers for the kids is a must. The doors are opened to let in fresh air so the audience doesn’t get over whelmed with fumes. What amazes me is that the trucks can move in such a small arena. They used every inch of the stadium to their advantage and truly made it a great show.

The Snowmobile Stunt show was especially one that really Wow’d the crowd. The heights they reached where amazing!

We loved the half time break where the camera man search the audience for a couple to give each other a kiss or just a wave at the camera and crowd. We weren’t spotlighted but hubby and I shared a quick kiss just for fun.

Most everyone I know has heard of the Grave Digger and this years show is dedicated to 30 years of Grave Digger racing. The Grave digger pulled out on tops with some really cool jumps and wow’d the audience one stunt after another. We just couldn’t get enough.

Grave Digger!! Check out that Paint Job!

Reaching New Hieghts

Be sure to check out www.ticketmaster.com for next show date and times. for a local show coming to your area. I would recommend it for all ages whether your a racing fan or not. It is certainly a event and show to see.

The All-State arena is located in Rosemont, IL . Home of the Chicago Wolves, DePaul University Men’s Basketball,  and Chicago Rush football more. We’ve also seen the great Ringling Bros. Barnum Bailey Circus here as well as Disney on Ice.  Check local listings for the next exciting event to attend.

disclosure: We were provided with tickets for our family to attend the show. We want to thank All-state arena for giving us a great show to attend for family fun night out. Parking was $20 and snacks and drinks are an additional charge that was an out of pocket expense.

I for one will vouch for that. Now I have never been to Monster Jam to see it in person, but being a transcriptionist I typed up the close-caption for Monster Jam, and Speed something I can’t remember, but wow that place is super loud between the trucks roaring, and the fans screaming. When I typed the announcers were so pictorial in their words, and the excitement in their voices and the crowd it was like being there. It’s phenomenal. I’m sure the boys had great fun & probably Bri too. How exciting! Great pics too!

We definitely need to get in the Chicago area more often. My son needs some interests outside of football and this looks like an event he’d LOVE.

I know my son would love this, but not me. Too loud (yeah I AM old!) Maybe the hubby can take him, but I doubt it. He probably would not enjoy it either. Hmm, maybe send him with a friend. Yeah, that’s it!! Problem solved.
