I’ve been thinking about a special planting project I wanted to do with the kids but knowing I’m not too good with planting plants, flowers or vegetables. I’ve always been a little bit hesitant to even give it a try because I forget to water them and not sure how to feed them. I have these 2 owl cups labeled grandma and grandpa that I’ve wanted to plant flowers in for a long time. I thought it would be a special remembrance activity project for them and eventually we can put them in the yard around our hand print stones. Using Expand ‘n Gro™  for this project would have some wonderful benefits because it’s specially formulated  to feed plants and transform the soil to give you 3x more flowers and it’s perfect for planting in pots or in the ground.

EnG Product Shot.pngThe best planting mix from Miracle-Gro®. With Expand ‘n Gro™ Concentrated Planting Mix get the following benefits:

• Up to 3X the Flowers and Vegetables!* *versus native soil

• Significantly improves soil for multiple years

• Concentrated planting mix expands up to 3X when water is

• Feeds for up to 6 months

• All natural fibers hold up to 50% more water than basic potting

In pots or in‐ground, the absorbent coir fibers help ensure that water is used efficiently. Expand ‘n Gro retains up to 50% more moisture than basic potting soils and then releases water as plants need it, to help prevent over or under watering. Since moisture and nutrients must be able to reach plant roots, proper air space and circulation in soil is critical for plant health. Tilling this planting mix into native soil can reduce the soil’s bulk density – making it up to 40% lighter, and creating up to 90% more air space. The result is more workable native soil with better water holding ability, moisture distribution, and drainage, all of which ultimately creates an improved rooting environment for plants.

**Expand ‘n GroTM is available at lawn and garden retailers in the Midwest, Northeast and Texas. Please visit expandngro.com for in-store availability information. Also available at Amazon.com.

I’m so excited to receive my very own sample of Miracle Grow  and get started on my planting projects as well as possibly plant some vegetables in the yard. I’m going to start off with tomatoes and see how that goes. We go through a lot of them in the summer and it would be nice to have a supply in my own back yard.

Using Miracle Grow is a great way to prep your Spring and Summer gardens off right.
