While attending a 5 day #DisneyGlobalEvent including a Red Carpet Premiere for Disneynature Chimpanzee I had the pleasure of staying in a Global Resort Home at the Windsor Hills Resort. I felt like a princess staying in a mansion with 7 of my blogger friends. There were 22 of us in attendance and we stayed at 3 homes side by side making it easy to walk next door to visit, have meals together, and hang out by the pools and relax in the hot tubs.

When I first arrived by Mears Shuttle Bus up to the gated community of the Windsor Hills Resort it was nice to see that the area was safe and guarded.  Then driving up to the home was like pulling up the home of my dreams. I’ve seen large homes like these but have never been past the front door. Now I was going to be able to spend 4 nights in one. I felt like a kid walking in a castle.

I had to walk around the back of the house before going inside because I was curious about the location and the backyard. What I found was a beautiful private swimming pool with a hot tub at its side. I thought  instantly, “I’m going to love this Florida vacation trip! That hot tub has my name all over it.” I loved the fact that it was screened in. That meant there was little to no bugs during the day and night.

Before entering the home you’ll see they are protected by what is called a KABA lock (http://youtu.be/rxJJgd8M238) and you must press a number sequence to enter. These numbers are changed for each family who stays here.  Walking in the front door the home looks very clean, comfortable and inviting. The decor is beautiful and you can see right away this is going to be just like home only better.

The kitchen has everything you need except the grocery’s. (Don’t worry shopping isn’t far away.)  You’ll find pots, pans, plates and silverware and a dishwasher to clean it all after your meal. There’s an every day table in the kitchen and a formal dinning area with more seating should you need it. Global resort homes has a local Chef that will even come cook for you and your family should you desire to have a home cooked meal.  Be sure to contact Chef Linda on your stay. She makes an amazing Lasagna dish along with a tasty breakfast you can easily reheat in the a.m.

Directly next to the kitchen you’ll find another seating area complete with a comfy sectional for spreading out and relaxing, catching up on your favorite show ( I watched “Touched” in HD and I can tell you the televisions are fantastic! I want one!) or sitting around and reminiscing about tomorrows events.

Now if your tired of the kids in your hair send them off to their own personal game room complete with a pool table and Foosball table. Just walk right through the laundry room where you’ll find a washer and dryer and open the door to the garage.

  The I stayed in had had 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The bathrooms with very spacious providing private shower area, toilet area, and sink area in most of them.

The Master bedroom was the one I stayed in. Isn’t it amazing!! The master bath was just as incredible.

So spacious and so comfortable. All I could think about is how my family would absolutely love to stay here while on vacation. The kids can have their own rooms.  When they fall asleep they won’t be disturbed. The adults can have privacy and stay awake after they fall asleep.  We could even go on a large family trip with hubby’s brother and family and father and still have plenty of room for all the adults and the kids.

  Global homes provides guest services so be sure to call if you need anything. They have baby necessity rental service for strollers, high chairs, cribs, etc. Rental items such as gas grills, scooters and wheel chairs, too.
