Energizer Ultimate Lithium Review and Giveaway

I was at the Cubs Baseball game the other day and I took over 212 photos and 11 video’s. It’s not an unusual occurrence especially with 4 kids and plenty of activities going on all week long to take that many photos.  I know I work my Canon camera over time so usually I’ll carry an extra pack of Energizers in my purse.

If you’re a regular reader of the Night Owl Mama you see about half the photos I take. Many of them I take from different angles trying to decide which is the best and sharing those photos with you. When I got home I took a few more product review photos and the battery light came on. I was able to take one more photo and the batteries went dead. Yep doesn’t offer much of a warning. I’m not even sure how long ago I put that set of Energizers batteries in possibly back in March when I took over 800 photos on the 5 day Disney Global Event for Disneynature Chimpanzee Premiere I was on in mid March. Dependable batteries are a major necessity here. That’s why I rely on Energizers.  We try to keep a stock in the cabinet but have to replenish it about every 2-3 months with the kids always needing batteries for their Xbox Kinect remotes and remote control toys. When we switch out the batteries we send them into the school for their recycling program so they are not going into the landfill.

I’m excited to test out the improved AA Energizers Ultimate Lithium Batteries. They are labeled the World’s longest lasting AA Battery in High-Tech Devices. They’ll last up to 9x longer giving me more confidence about using my devices and not having to worry about needing batteries all the time to replace them. With up to 9x less waste to use less batteries and create less waste we won’t be going through so many packages and that makes me happy.

I wrote a review on the Energizer site and I wanted to share those thoughts with you:

With 4 kids I need to depend on a long lasting Battery when taking photos and video’s for events and daily photo opportunities. My kids are always doing something silly. It’s great to see that Energizer is making improvements on Ultimate lithium for a photo crazed, picture snapping moms like me. Knowing that I can count on Energizers in my camera makes me confident to take daily photos for weeks and Months at a time. I always keep an extra package on hand just in case. Thanks Energizer for 9x longer performance and for providing me with 2 packages for review on the Night Owl Mama. I love that I’ll be changing the batteries less and creating less waste .

Check out your local retailer for the new Energizer Ultimate Lithium last up to 9x longer and let me know what you think.
