Experiencing Walt Disney World Park Hopping with a Friend

The last time I visited Walt Disney World was with my Grandparents in 1983, I was only 13 then. We went with another family and had so much fun. I cherish those memories and dream of the day I can bring my children there so they too can experience the magic of Disney. So many thing have changed since then but yet some thing remained the same. Walt Disney World is an incredible place not only for children but for the young at heart. A place of dreams, adventure, and around the world cuisine. When your favorite Walt Disney Character comes to life right before your very eyes it makes you feel like your stepping on to the pages of a bedtime story, and onto the set of your favorite Walt Disney film. There’s no words you can say when you see Cinderalla Castle and the statue of the man who made it all possible Mr. Walt Disney.

On the Disney Global Event for the Disneynature Chimpanzee Premiere we were given the opportunity to spend the day with a park hopper to visit all of the Walt Disney World parks if we chose. It was a hard decision but me and Stefanie from Mommy Enterprises Mom’s Blog paired up and tried to squeeze it all in. We were like kids in a candy store with no supervision. Running from here to there. Riding on this and that wanting to do it all. Snapping pictures and tasting treats every where we went. It was a grown up Disney adventure on a perfect vacation to relive childhood memories.

We started off at Walt Disney world. Watched a few shows. Oh My gosh the shows were so wonderful and entertaining. The look on the kids faces around us were just priceless. I smiled the whole time wishing my children were there to experience that very moment.

We then rode a few rides. You the one’s you can never ride because the kids are too little or they’d be too scared. It was wonderful to stand in line not listening to whining.  After our adventure at Magic Kingdom we then went on to Epcot. I don’t think I have ever been there before or atleast not that I remembered.

Epcot was hosting the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival. Beautiful flowers every where in array of design and beauty surrounding Disney sculptures and statues presenting them in a beautiful Disney flower display. It’s a beautiful site to see.

Epcot attractions were something to see. We went on Mission space ride which is a simulation ride where you get into a capsule and they blast you up into space. You can go green for chicken’s or you can go full ride simulation mayhem on the Orange side. P.S. Yes, I’m a chicken. That was good enough for me and yes that too was a bit wild but interesting to experience.

What was really truly unique about visiting Epcot was the trip around the world. You can travel to far away lands within a few blocks walk and see breathe taking visuals of country’s replica landmarks I have yet to visit but would love to go.  Each place has attractions and food to taste. So many places to see, visit and experience. I think I wore out my camera taking so many photos.   Travel from Mexico, Japan, Italy, Norway, Germany, China and more. The views are beautiful and you want to experience them all. Of course there are never enough hours in the day so we moved on.

While walking around it was really great to see a sand sculpture in the process of creation by some really great artist’s. They did this all off a photo.

Isn’t it incredible?! I loved seeing them at work. Everyone just stood around watching the process and admiring it.

Our next stop was onto Planet Hollywood. What a great place. I do remember going here with my grandparents but again things have changed so much. We rode the Hollywood Tower of Terror Ride Talk about Scary lol. I can laugh now but man my stomach. If you don’t have a strong stomach I’d say skip it but the after photo of us on the ride was comical.  (sorry no picture to share). We sat at the Fantasmic show to end the night. Which is a fantastic 25 minute Hydrotechnic water show combined with Disney characters, Laser lights and a fireworks show that will delight children of all ages.  It was the perfect end to a day filled with Walt Disney Adventure.

If there’s one place you must visit when you go to Walt Disney World is the Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park and the Africa Trek Tour Adventure.

I’m still bragging about how incredible this was to see the animals roam in a nautral habitat and experience it all safely from just a few feet away.

There’s just two Inspirational “Dream Builder” Quotes from Walt Disney that I want to leave you with and I hope they will inspire you to make the trip to Walt Disney World for what could be one the most memorable trips of a lifetime.

He was certainly a wise man with a dream to entertain the public and bring the magic of Disney and fantasy to life.   Here’s one more just because it’s one of my favorites: All Dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them.

Take the time to experience Walt Disney park hopping as an adult and with a friend I highly recommend it. At the end of the day there were so many tired, whinny kids I was happy mine where at home. I may never get the opportunity again to do that but I can certainly say that it was another memorable day I won’t soon forget.  Next time I visit Disney world I’ll have my children in tow and I know exactly what park we’ll start at.

Disclosure: Disney Global Event was sponsored by Disney, Global Homes Resorts, and Kissimmee CVB for the Disneynature Chimpanzee Premiere for an mostly all expenses paid trip. All meals and souvenirs from our day at Walt Disney World were purchased by me. Many thanks to all sponsors for the memories of a lifetime. I truly am blessed to be invited and attend this magical and once in lifetime event.

  15. Sounds like you had a blast. We are surprising our kids in Septemeber but rather than squeeze different parks in one day we are going to focus on 1 park per day so we can take it all in and not feel rushed 🙂 Your photos are getting me even more excited LOL
