STEP2 Naturally Playful Picnic Table with Umbrella Review & Giveaway

My kids love playing outside. I prefer they play in our yard so I make sure that they have plenty of toys for outdoor play.  We have everything from a Step2 Water Table, a Swing Set, SpringFree Trampoline and even a Step2 Play House. For those hot summer months we even have a pool.  Even though my yard looks like a neighborhood playground the one problem I have is getting them to come in for meals. They always say they are not hungry or they’ll eat later.  Having a Step2 Naturally Playful Picnic Table with an Umbrella helped to solve that problem.   The table allows a place for all the kids to sit and enjoy their lunch, and snacks, along with a safe place to keep their food so no bugs get at it. They always know where to find it when they are ready for another bite.

Step2 Naturally Playful Picnic Table comes with an umbrella to shade children from the sun or rain showers while they sit. The tan and green colors allow it to pleasantly fit in with nature and outdoor scheme of the yard. Offering lots comfortable seating on both sides and can hold up to six children or  300 lbs. maximum weight. What I really like is that the umbrella can be set at different heights allowing for as much or as little head room as needed. Perfect seating for meals, arts and crafts, building blocks, getting out of the sun, drying off after a swim, etc.

Assembly Process: This was easier than I imagined. The directions were easy to follow and we didn’t need a drill. Just a screwdriver. My father-in-law who’s in his 70’s was able to put it together in no time at all. (Thank you Grandpa)

You’ll find several selections in STEP2 Outdoor play items but this one I particularly like because of the look of the brick stone texture, durability, roomy seats, and umbrella. Offers plenty of leg room for my six year old and my four year old. My 11 yr old has sat on the corner of the seat too side ways and it held her weight and didn’t tip with the other kids on. The Kids Picnic table can be used indoors or out.

With summer almost here and the kids getting out of school it can only mean one thing. Time to get the yard ready for BBQ’s and family picnic’s. Make sure you have separate seating for the kids. Bringing the yard toys out will be a snap. Be sure to read Step2’s great tips on getting your Outdoor Step2 Products ready for Outdoor fun.
