It’s the story of the WIZARD of OZ like you’ve never seen it told before. Ever since I was a little girl I’ve been a huge fan of the Wizard of OZ. I have all the dolls, music boxes, and more. I would never think it was possible to remake a classic movie but after seeing this trailer I think its going to be a whole new twist and I’m so excited to see how the tale spins out.
March 2013 is the big release! check out this trailer of OZ The Great and Powerful and tell me what YOU think!

When Oscar Diggs (James Franco), a small-time circus magician with dubious ethics, is hurled away from dusty Kansas to the vibrant Land of Oz, he thinks he’s hit the jackpot—fame and fortune are his for the taking—that is until he meets three witches, Theodora (Mila Kunis), Evanora (Rachel Weisz) and Glinda (Michelle Williams), who are not convinced he is the great wizard everyone’s been expecting. Reluctantly drawn into the epic problems facing the Land of Oz and its inhabitants, Oscar must find out who is good and who is evil before it is too late. Putting his magical arts to use through illusion, ingenuity—and even a bit of wizardry—Oscar transforms himself not only into the great and powerful Wizard of Oz but into a better man as well.
When small-time magician Oscar Diggs (James Franco) pulls one flimflam too many, he finds himself hurled into the fantastical Land of Oz where he must somehow transform himself into the great and powerful Wizard—and just maybe into a better man as well.

I can’t wait to see the twist in the story! From the trailer I’ve assumed that this story will be about how Oz himself gets to Oz.
Now this is one I’m reallllllly excited about!
I believe the correct name for the witch of the west is Ephalba
I love James Franco! And Sam Raimi!
I think this is a different take or story of Wizard of Oz, because I don’t like the idea of them messing with the original (my favorite movie of all time).
