P&G/Costco Send Off Three-Time Olympian and World Champion Water Polo Player Brenda Villa & P&G Prize Pack Giveaway

The important role that moms play in helping their children reach their full potential sometimes goes unnoticed. We all want our children to strive and succeed and push themselves to be productive adults especially in today’s world. We always want better for our children than we had ourselves. Costco and Procter & Gamble recognizes the efforts that moms put forth in raising their children and they want you to join in to celebrate and send off three-time Olympian and World Champion Water Polo Player Brenda Villa, as she and her mom, Rosario, head off to the London 2012 Olympic Games.

As the Proud Sponsor of Moms for the London 2012 Olympic Games, P&G is celebrating moms around the world and saying “Thank you, Mom.”

As Brenda’s mom is a Mexican immigrant. She encouraged her to pursue her goals and dreams in a completely unfamiliar sport. She tells us that as moms the most important advice you can give to your children is this,

“Encourage them, support them and allow them to follow their dreams. Make sure you give them the confidence to follow their own values and beliefs and stay true to themselves.”

I love this quote its so inspiring. Children do not come with a handbook but the best we can do as parents is to encourage our children. I try to do this everyday and some days I lose sight of the goal but the best thing that I can do is to remind my children of theirs.

Here’s a Video that shares a little bit about Brenda and the journey she’s on.

I hope this post has inspired you. As a gift to one lucky reader from P&G and Costco to remind you that they carry great band name items you use every day I have a fantastic giveaway.
