This summer has been especially hot her in the Midwest. We’ve had so many days above 100 degree’s we find the only place we can get some relief from the hot summer sun is in the pool. Usually the kids are so busy splashing around that the adults don’t have much room to relax but relaxing is important for busy parents. There are never enough hours in the day to get things down and sometimes you just have to call “Adult Swim”, kick all the kids out of the pool and take 15 minutes to relax.
This week my best friend came over with her son. I hadn’t realized what the very important date was until she reminded me. It was her birthday. I honestly hate that my memory is going and I’m not more organized about these things. But the good news is we were spending the day together and finding time to share thoughts, catch up on life and most of relax in my brand new Swimways Spring float. You’ll notice that one the one side folds up a little higher than the other. This is totally normal and it doesn’t effect the way it floats or me getting my relaxing time in.
The Swimways Spring Float is available at retailers nationwide and on Swimways.com for $29.95 in a variety of styles and colors, including blue/aqua, white/aqua, pink/blue and aqua/blue. I use the float often to take a break from work and enjoy relaxing pool time with my kids. I love that the spring float comes in a reusable mesh and plastic circular bag and the directions to folding it to put it back in are right on the bag.

What I like most about the Spring float is that it allows you to float on the open mesh in the water but still keeps your body in the water afloat, cool and wet while you float. With most floats I find that your above the water floating on plastic. I usually end up having to pull water up to cool me off and keep me wet. There are 2 valves to blow into to fill. There’s one for the side and other for the head pillow. I like the spring float so much I want to pick up another for hubby so we can float together and he’ll stop taking mine. I do have to mention that the mesh will hold your body but doesn’t hold up to rough housing with the kids. Be sure to store it in the bag after to keep it safe and free from rips and tears. The bag makes it portable for taking with to friends, the beach, hotels etc.
