June gone! July only one more day left then August will be here. What’s on your summer calendar? Events? Back to school shopping? Perhaps traveling for an end of the summer vacation? I can’t believe how fast this summer has gone by yet I feel like we didn’t get to do all the things I wanted to yet. I hoped to go to Michigan to visit my uncle at his new summer home on the lake. I wanted to go visit my sister in St. Louis, Missouri. I haven’t seen her or her son in 2 yrs. Time really fly’s doesn’t it? I don’t want waste another minute dreaming of planning a vacation.
Earlier this summer we had a wonderful over night get-away in Downtown Chicago at the Embassy suites hotel near the lake and Navy Pier.
The hotel was so close to everything including just a short drive to the Shed Aquarium, The Field Museum, Magnificent Mile and more. The kids still talk about the fun we had at Navy Pier for fire works and just walking around along with how “fancy” the hotel was and how “fun” swimming in the pool was.
There’s still plenty of time to book your get away to the Embassy suites! They serve a fresh hot complimentary breakfast made to order by really great chef’s.

I wish we had another vacation planned — I’ve heard nothing but good about Embassy Suits.
I’m reading for another vacay asap! Preferably somewhere with air conditioning!
I love Embassy brands.
We have a trip coming up at the end of September and I am so looking forward to getting out of the city! Embassy suites looks like a lovely brand of hotels.
We have a big 9 day Orlando trip coming up soon. It will be our last hurrah before next year.
