Back to School With Gutzy Gear Party

School started this week. My son started the first grade and he was really excited about going to school until he found out he’d be there for six hours. Then that was the only thing he could talk about. Funny what kids remember when you tell them things.  One of the first things he checked to make sure he had was his Gutzy Gear patches on his backpack straps. He checked all his patches making sure all the one’s he wanted to bring to school were accounted for and then made sure he arranged them the way he wanted them. Making careful note that the Dragons were on top. The Dragon patches are his favorite.

A few weeks ago we hosted a Gutzy Gear party. We invited boys and girls from school along with friends, neighbors and cousins. We shared the Gutzy Gear website and Patch sheets with the kids and they all loved how unique and fun the patches are.  With these fun and personality patches kids can collect, trade, share, and have a ton of fun showing off them off. They are a great conversation starter and helps new kids make lots of friends. Starting off the school year in a new classroom with new faces can be hard for a lot of kids but with Gutzy gear they make friends just a little quicker.

The first day of school my son had several kids gather around him asking where he got them and talking about how cool they were. From Dragons, to pets, to funny faces, and different things kids like such as Pizza, soda, ice cream and sports. They already have 2 series of patches and your kids will sure to find 10 or 20 they’ll want.

GAMES: We played Gutzy Gear Bingo with the kids. We called out the patch and showed what they looked like and they all hunted for them on their sheets.  It was quite comical and they kids really loved playing.  I had to save the sheets because they were so much fun.  Of course this wasn’t like any game of Bingo they had to stand up and shout that they were “GUTZY” in order to win.

Only half of our guests were featured in the photo above. We had a few show up late after the photo was taken and several who came later in the day.  They all just loved the idea of Gutzy Gear and adored the patches and couldn’t wait to find more of them in stores.
