If your a long time reader of the Night owl Mama you’ll know that I went on an incredible adventure with Disney for the release of this film and walked the RED Carpet and looked on as Jane Goodall herself was being interviewed. I did an interview with the Directors of Chimpanzee who told of their incredible journey to film this inspiring film and their passion for the animals and the film itself will leave you breathless.

My family and I were so excited to be watching Disneynatures’ Chimpanzee in the comfort of our own home. I loved how the kids noticed the little things that the film offers such as Time-lapse photography. Kids don’t get to see how plants grow in natural life and his film offers a chance for them to see this. There are several other things they noticed as well. My kids were very observant during the whole film. They sat and watched the whole thing asking probably over 100 questions because they knew I talked to the directors and may have answers.

You’ll really enjoy the stunning hi-definition images that will bring you up close and personal as Oscar and his family navigate thecomplex territory of the forest. You’ll watch first hand as Oscar experience’s those first few years as he grows to learn the ways of the forest and taking care of himself. You’ll experience heart ache and joy for Oscar as he loses a family member but gains another to help guide him. This incredible event doesn’t happen often.
