Phineas and Ferb’s Perry the Platypus Bus Tour in Chicago at NAVY PIER

There are a 104 days of summer vacation and school comes along just to end it… If your children are a huge fan of Phineas and Ferb and you live in the Chicagoland are you have to head out to Navy Pier this weekend. This summer, Perry went missing in the two part television special “Where’s Perry?”

On Friday, August 24 (9:00 p.m., ET/PT), Agent P’s fate is revealed in the suspense-filled finale of the two-part “Phineas and Ferb” special “Where’s Perry” on Disney Channel. Our family will be glued to the television waiting to see the episode. Will yours?

Disney’s cross-country Perry the Platy-bus tour has made it’s stop right here in Chicago at our very own Navy Pier!!

You’ll get to walk through the bus and search for Phineas and Ferb in all 8 scene’s. Once you find them and come out you can take photos with Perry and Hang out with the Radio Disney crew.

Fans can join the mission to bring Perry back home and, via Augmented Reality, can virtually interact with Phineas, Ferb and other characters. The search for Perry continues with Disney’s cross-country Perry the Platy-bus tour.

We attend the Press Media event on Wed morning and were able to meet the co-creators Dan Povenmire and Jeff “swampy” Marsh of the show along with voice characters of Isabella (Alyson Stoner) and Phineas Flynn (Vincent Martella). We also had the awesome pleasure to meet the very imaginative creators of the series and the Evil Dr. Doofenshmirtz. (that makes me laugh every time I say it) You can just imagine the look on my kids faces when Dr. Doofenshmirtz voice came out of Dan Povenmire’s mouth. I laughed out loud. I couldn’t help my self. He’s so talented and so funny.

The best part was getting to talk to the creators and of course taking a photo with them tops that.

The bus won’t be at Navy Pier long so hurry there with the kids.

Where: Located at the EAST End of Navy Pier 600 East Grand Ave., Chicago Il Compass rose area across from the Grand Ballroom

Date and Time: Friday and Saturday

Kids will enjoy games, interacting virtually with the onscreen characters and have fun and dance the night away with Disney’s own Radio Disney with lots of fun songs for the kids to sing and even a few prizes will be given away.

And even to the Platipus Walk

My boys were so excited to hang out with PERRY the platypus acting as a spy.(Agent P)

2012 to date, “Phineas and Ferb” is TV’s # 1 animated series in Kids 6-11 and Tweens 9-14. This is one of the shows I really enjoy watching the kids because I never her inappropriate language for the kids to repeat and it always has us laughing together.

Here’s one of our favorite songs from Phineas and Ferb and their sister Candance it’s called “Gitchi Gitch Goo

Phineas and Ferb is currently in their 3rd season on the Disney Channel and Disney just announced that Phineas and Ferb has been picked up for a 4th season to continue on to 2014!

I can’t help but pictures my own children as the characters. I do have 2 mischievous boys that get into trouble all the time and my daughter tries to rat them out all the time. You gotta laugh.

Disclosure: We were provided with Press pass to attend the event, shirts, drinks, snacks and fantastic photo opps, along with free parking to share our experience and this event with you. Thank you so much Disney channel Pr for the fantastic once in a lifetime experience. My kids can’t wait to return to school to tell all their friends.
