LeapFrog Learning games offer an innovative approach to learning. Kids can learn activities and skills even before gaining the knowledge from a classroom or enhance on the skills already learned to keep them sharp and remembered. Children learn through play and by exploring with natural curiosity while playing games they continue to learn without feeling like it’s a chore. The LeapFrog LeapPad was on the Holiday wish last year of so many children last year and this year the LeapPad2 will top those lists again. A few week ago I posted our review of the LeapPad2 and I can tell you that my children love it even more today than they did when I wrote that review.

The upgrades to the LeapPad Explorer learning tablet for the LeapFrog LeapPad2 have impressed even me. With a dual camera: front and back, larger memory capacity: now a 4G up 2G’s from the original Leapfrog LeapPad and now a faster game processor and video’s are playing faster and smoother than ever before. I love that they switched out the covers for the

Offering over 325+ educational games and learning apps to choose from kids will find so many ways to be engaged and interact with their favorite characters and continue to have fun and learn like never before. We have been fans of the LeapFrog brand for years. My oldest child is 23 yrs old. Having four kids its great that these electronic games last and keep the interest child after child. With the LeapFrog LeapPad learning system both my four year and my 6 yr old use the same device. All of the LeapPad books and cartridges adjust for learning that is challenging for both of them just by programing in their profiles with age, and school year.

Boys ages 4 and 6 with LeapPad and LeapPad2

We have several games downloaded on both the LeapPad and Leappad2 that we own. We purchased several cartridges in the last year as well as downloads and my boys always have a hard time choosing which one to download because there are so many good one’s.

Note: If you’ve already purchased Downloads for the LeapPad those Apps can be downloaded into the Leappad2 for No extra Fee!

Accessories for Leapfrog Leappad2  are great. My favorite is the LeapPad2 Recharger we purchased about a month ago from Walmart. Eliminated the need to keep buying batteries (I spent well over $40 on batteries in 2 months of play time). Just insert the leapPad recharger in the device where the batteries go and plug in to charge. It’s that simple. Over night charging is perfect for hours of play the next day.

While my boys enjoy hours of educational fun and learning I get the peace of mind knowing that the games they are playing are helping them learn more with each time they play it.

Why I love the LeapPad2:  All of the content on the Leapfrog I know is safe for my children. There’s no swearing, no ads for them to click and no opportunities to accidentally download or delete things they shouldn’t like playing with the Ipad or a cell phone.  It’s durable and lasts through all the drops, kicks and tug-a-war my boys put it through. It’s fun and gives them the electronic gaming experience for kids that I can trust. Not to mention saves my sanity from the kids fighting in the car or asking “are we there yet?” Kids love taking pictures and videos of themselves and eachother as well as record music while listening to the radio and record television shows they love by using the camera and microphone included. It’s an all around fabulous tool for not only education but hours of fun.

Best for Car Rides, Doctor office visits and when we head to Nanee’s and drop off at a sitters.  Playing the Leappad2 games and apps at the doctor office helps ease anxiety he feels waiting for the doctor come in the office. Helps to pass the time away and avoid boredom and this I love.
