R.L. Stine’s The Haunting Hour – “Doll” – Clip 1
My (11 yr old) daughter really loves R.L Stine’s series and books. She’s a collector and has been reading the series books for well over 2 yrs. She really enjoys the weekend shows as well as the repeats. I really liked watching the episodes on Dvd. The Haunting Hour Volume 1 features a doll that is alive. She’s really creepy. Her eyes move and she not like any other doll because she doesn’t want to be a doll. She wants to be alive because if she was alive then someone would love her. She starts to do things that gets her owner Lilly in trouble. the more she gets Lilly in trouble she thinks the more Lilly’s Mommy will dislike Lilly and love the doll. Toward the end Lilly and the doll switch places.
In the second half everyone in the family is suspicious of Lilly (who’ is really the doll come to life). There’s a lot of creepy things going on and you’ll be scared. I think its fun to watch scary movies and they are really cool. We won’t tell you the ending but it’s really a great series Dvd to have to watch with a group of friends or just whenever you want to watch a scary show.

R.L. Stine’s The Haunting Hour – “Body” – Clip 4
My favorite episode on this Dvd is Game over. I think it was more funny than it was scary although I can see why someone would be scared. In this episode Kids play this game and they get pulled into the game and have to defeat Major Mayhem. In this virtual world become real players need to play to stay alive. Some are not so lucky but if you win the game you get to be the game champion. You’ll have to watch the episode to find out more but I really like this one.
The Red Dress teaches a life lesson. This episode is scary. It’s about a girl who steels a dress from this thrift shop and the owner for the store follows her home and wants her to pay for the dress. But not with cash. You’ll never guess what happens. Scary!
