Kids look forward to Halloween. Decorating, dressing up and of course eating all that yummy candy. Get ready to share the scares with NCircle Entertainment Halloween spirited SPOOK-tacular brand new DVDs from the hit PBS series, “Sid the Science Kid” and two classic Halloween favorites from “The Cat in the Hat knows a Lot About That” and “WordWorld.”

“Sid the Science Kid – Sid’s Spooky Halloween” (brand new this year!)

Sid the Science Kid fans get ready for Halloween adventure with Sid and his friends as they take you on a journey to discover how bats catch mosquitoes, see how skeletons make up the foundation of our bodies, and why spiders are expert engineer web builders. The kids dress up  to celebrate Halloween at school and Teacher Suzie leads them in a special Halloween parade song to show off their costumes. With Sid the Science Kid, Halloween will be spooky and scientific.

We love watching Sid the Science Kid because of all the wonderful experiments and questions along with providing scientific answers that children can understand. Halloween special  is just what spook-tacular learning adventure kids need during this holiday season.   Sid takes them on a journey to learn more about their surroundings and even shares easy science experiments kids can try at home.  Kids get to ask questions and learn the answers as they watch the show. Its fun learning for the whole family. Yes, moms and dads can learn too. Science was one of my favorite subjects in school and I love that my kids are developing a love of Science through watching this show.

“The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That – Tricks and Treats”

Arriving just in time for Halloween take a Spooky Adventure with the Cat, Nick and Sally, fish and the Things as they meet the eeriest critters you may have ever seen. There will be lots of Tricks and of course Treats to share with animal friends you will meet along the way. There’s a spider monkey, coconut crab and bats, along with plenty of more fun with the Cat in the Hat.

Like all the adventures with the Cat in the Hat he’ll take you on a wild and crazy spooky adventure  this Halloween. Kids will learn science concepts and all about the creatures of the night in the forest. We love watching the Cat in the hat adventures together. My kid ask a lot of questions and most of them are answered with the fun natured Cat in the Hat. Anything he doesn’t answer and I can’t we have a fun look up session on the internet.

• “WordWorld – A Kooky, Spooky Halloween

The Word friends get their share of scares the night before Halloween when pig sleep walks and everyone thinks he’s a ghost. Then Sheep is making herself a super special fairy costume to wear for pigs Halloween barn party. But what will she do when she finds out that her friends need pieces of her costume to make their own costumes.

I love the lighted Wordworld show. My preschooler and now 1st grader (who can read) just love watching these barn yard characters spell their way through episodes to make objects during the show. I love it when I hear my children repeating how to spell words. It enhances letter recognition and spelling as well as reading readiness.

These 3 DVDs retail for $6.99 each and are available at www.NCircleEntertainment.com or a retailer near you!
