Halloween: Fairy Face Painting and More with #KlutzBooks

Children absolutely love to pretend and what better day to pretend than on Halloween. My children love when we get out the paint book and paint designs on their face and arms. We have hosted several parties with Face painting and we’ve always used the Klutz Face Painting Books for a painting guide with professional face paints.

Enhance your Trick or Treat experience with letting the magic last all day. Here’s a great Fairy Face painting tutorial I did this weekend with my daughter using the Klutz Face painting book to guide me.

I love how easy the design was to replicate and how it allows your own creativity to come out in the design. Everything you need including instructions on how to paint a fairy face is in the book. There are several photos of different fairy face designs that you can choose from, too.

The paint brush as well as the paints is professional quality and the paints seem to go along with when used properly. Even though there are only six main colors for the palette book there is instructions on how to mix and what colors to combine to create other colors in the spectrum such as pink, purple, brown, baby blue, etc.

I’ve used Klutz brand face painting books for well over 10 years for birthday parties and every day fun with the kids. I think I even have the original around here for tutorial sakes but all the paint has been used. What I like about the book is that each photos gives you a start to finish guide so that you too can produce professional looking paint drawings of characters that kids will just love. It’s also easy to just copy off a photo or something in the room for a guide such as I did below with my daughters Hello Kitty request and my son angry bird request (I used the t-shirt he was wearing as a guide).

My son request a Angry bird with lots of color

The designs are lot of fun and even more four year old found something in the book that he absolutely loved.

He says he wanted the dragon warrior and pointed to the yinyang symbol in the book. He watches a lot of Kung Foo Panda and this was perfect for him.

The paints are water soluble and wash off very easily with soap and water. You can even use a baby wipe to get the paint off a little quicker if you like. I had originally did tutorials for those above too but I had a video glitch again and my videos just didn’t turn out. Hope you enjoy my photos and I know your’ll enjoy Klutz books.  They make great gifts and the best party gifts for kids who love crafts.
