Tinker Bell in Disney’s SECRET OF THE WINGS Available on Blu-Ray and Dvd October 23!! (Review)

Ever since I was a little girl and especially when my daughter was born We’ve had a special place in our hearts for Tinker Bell. The newest Episode SECRET of the Wings not only touched our hearts but made us both cry. You see in this Tinker Bell story Tinker Bell finds her long lost Twin sister who lives in a winter wonderland. They were separated at birth to find each other later in life and never want to be separated again.

You see my daughter just found out she was adopted. Knowing now that her cousin is her really her sister just breaks her heart that they doesn’t have every day to share together. Being separated from her sister and not being able to spend time together like they would if they grew up together is just like Tinker Bell and Periwinkle storyline. It had us both crying.

Coming out on Blu-Ray and Dvd October 23rd take a journey with Tinker Bell and her fairy friends to the mysterious Winter Woods in SECRET OF THE WINGS. Curiosity and adventure lead Tink to an amazing discovery and reveal a magical secret that could change her world forever!

OUR THOUGHTS: This delightful story has won the heart of everyone in our house including the boys. Tinker Bell sets out on a journey and finds her self at the end of the forest. Curious, she travels over to the winter wonderland and discovers she has a twin sister. Wanting to spend time with her and get to know her tinker bell bundles up, hides her wings and heads over to visit Periwinkle on the winter side. She soon has to go back to the spring/summer side but Periwinkle is curious too and want to visit where Tinker Bell grew up and experience the other side of the forest.

Tinker Bell and her friends set up a device to keep colder air just in an area where Periwinkle can walk or fly. Something goes terribly wrong and the machine is running out of ice and Periwinkle becomes sick. When they head back they find out that Periwinkle will not be allow to visit again and the machine gets thrown off a clip but not before starting up and sending cold weather toward the wrong side of the forest. Tinker bell and her friends show how important it is to help each other and the forest to save their magic from the special tree and forest of spring being frosted over. When Tinker Bell gets injured trying to reach her sister to get them to help she breaks her fairy wing and may never fly again.

When two sisters have eachother and fairy magic anything is possible but how will their love and need to be together and Identical wings help eachother? You’ll have to get the story of the Secret of the Wings in order to find out but I guarantee you that you’ll love the ending. We’ve already watched it 3x over since we’ve had it and my son asked to watch it again last night. Tinker Bell and Periwinkle will win your heart all over again.
