Growing up making paper airplanes out of notebook paper was the best and only way we knew how. We’d have paper airplane flight races and see who would go the longest and the fastest. Good Times. Today Klutz Books introduces a whole new way to design and create paper airplanes like you’ve never seen before in the Klutz Book of Paper Airplanes. Here’s two designs that the kids helped me pick out of the book to share with you.

The Hurricane

How to Make a Hurricane Paper Airplane Video:

The weather was beautiful outside today and instead of sitting inside being bored or playing video games we sat down and folded up some fun. Then took our paper airplane outside to enjoy outdoors in November with a rare 67 degree Saturday here in Chicago.

There are 10 designs in the Klutz that were tested and flown. The Book comes with 40 sheets of full color, flight-ready paper in 20 different designs. Each cleverly coordinated with the name of the paper airplane. Kids will love to blow away the competition with this awesomely cool flying paper machines.

My son just turned 7 and he’s a pretty good reader but needed instruction on how to fold the paper. The book gives  good illustration so making paper airplanes is easy. So easy I wanted to show you one more.
