Have you been thinking about returning to school? I graduated high school back in ’87 and started college when my oldest son was in kindergarten. I attended full-time for 3 years but I didn’t earn a degree. I dropped out of college when a family emergency and the opportunity to adopted my niece was presented. Things were hard enough being a single mom attending college with a 11 year old but now having a newborn and driving back and forth to school, and having to hunting down sitters or having to pay for them on 1 income I just couldn’t do it. I feel bad about not finishing college and have always thought about going back especially because I’d would love to learn how to learn more about social networking, SEO, and how to design a blog. With online college options such as Ivy Bridge College returning to college will no longer be a possibility but it could be a reality.
I’m still paying for my son’s college tuition so money is really tight. On my income right now I’m just making the minimum payment. On the rate of that loan I could be paying for the next 10 years. I’d love to earn a higher income get that paid off sooner and improve all our lives. Ivy Bridge College is a great option for moms seeking a college degree because of their focus on helping moms succeed by offering great support services, flexible scheduling, the ability to earn an associate’s degree in as little as 17 months, and the ability to seamlessly transfer to “name brand” 4-year schools to earn a bachelor’s.
IBC is designed for students to earn their associate’s degree at the ecampus and then seamlessly transfer to over 150 “name brand” partner schools, including Arizona State University, the University of Maryland, Pace University, Pepperdine University, Rutgers University, George Mason University, among others.
- After earning an associate’s degree many students choose to pursue a 4-year degree, but transferring from other two-year schools can be a very complicated process. Students often waste credits, time and money on courses that ultimately won’t transfer.
- Ivy Bridge College solves this problem by establishing clearly articulated transfer agreements with each of their partner schools to eliminate this headache. They have mapped out success paths so their students aren’t wasting time or money. To see all of IBC’s partner schools, click here: http://ivybridge.tiffin.edu/transfer-programs/partneruniversities
- IBC costs less than 1/3 of what it costs to attend other private schools (as per the College Board)
- People who hold an associate’s degree on average earn 20% more and those with a bachelor’s earn 65% more than those with only a high school diploma
Degree programs offered at IBC are:
- Accounting
- Business
- Computer & IT
- Corrections
- General Studies
- Healthcare Administration
- Homeland Security
- Law Enforcement
- Sports Management
