Living in the Midwest you never know what kind of weather your going to get. The weather has been so unpredictable lately that I’m not sure if I need my winter coat, hat and gloves or I can run out in just a sweatshirt. It was 60 degree’s today but tomorrow it’s going to be 19. See what I mean, unpredictable!
I’ve gone years wearing the same coat. It’s a bit beat up. You know the story. The kids need a coat before mom does. Dad needs a coat before Mom does. Mom can survive with the same coat from 1997 cause she’s always makes sacrifices. We’ll there comes a day that you realize that if Mom gets sick the house seizes to function, so it was certainly time for some new Outwear, before the world comes to an end.
My choice. The Women’s Archer Power Down from FreeCountry.com. This jacket is not only functional but it’s fabulous and so ME. The main feature I loved was the Hood with the fur.
My daughter was kind enough to model it for me and since she and I can wear almost the same size (except things are a bit looser on her) she was the perfect model.

There’s a snowflake charm on the zipper and a silver logo stamp on the sleeve. The words say, “power down series” and also has a snow flake logo on the sleeve. I personally like it and think it’s cute.

I like that coat. Is it real heavy or lightweight. I like to have a lightweight coat that is also warm. You daughter looks great in it too! Watch out she may snag it.
