I remember when I was a little girl my grandpa had a special saying, “I love you all the way around your heart”. This was his way of saying he loved you the most in the whole world. The tradition carried on into our family as we grew up. My grandpa has been gone for a long time but his memory lives on in all of us as well as his beautiful saying.

Valentines Day is a day hubby and I always looked forward to. We’d head out for dinner and a movie without the kids. It’s rare that we get to escape for date night. Now that we have children Valentine’s Day has taken on a whole new meaning. Hubby has always gone out of his way to get me something special and I love him for that. This year I wanted to surprise our daughter with a little something special to make her feel special. I chose to put a photo of the girls (my daughter and her sister) in the locket. They take your subject (people) and lazer them right on to the locket. The photo is clear and precise.
