Famliy Fun at the Monster Jam Monster Truck Show

The Advanced Auto Parts Monster Jam was in Chicago this weekend and my family was invited to attend. The kids just love anything that has to do with racing and trucks, as well as any type of motorized racing vehicles. Hubby’s been a gear head since a child and he’s raising little gear heads, too. Monster Trucks are a wildly loud good time and the whole stadium participates in the screams, clapping and standing ovation.  The sold out Monster Jam rocked the house on Friday putting on an awesomely loud show for fans.

First thing I have to say is be sure to have ear cover protection whenever you attend an event such as this. The trucks really get loud as well as the fans.  As you see all the kids were protected.

You’ll be amazed at how loud everything is but you’ll also be having such an awesome time that just having ear plugs will still allow you to hear everything clearly but keep your ears from getting ringing form the noise being to loud.

Monster truck racing action is spectacular. To vehicles come out at once and they racing around the track. Then judges then score on who they felt did the best jumps or action to excite the fans and he with the most points wins the rounds. All your favorite drivers participate from Grave Digger to Mass Destruction. The fans go crazy with excitement for high jumps and air. You won’t believe the action.

It’s that incredible!! The kids were amazed and so were we. Its insane how high these vehicles get with the jumps and even though were in doors it’s every bit as exciting as it is when they have room. The drivers are skilled at what they do and they make it so exciting.

Monster trucks aren’t all your see. Get a load of the very 1 and only Jet powered smart car. It will blow your mind, heat up the room, and blow your ear drums. It’s insanely LOUD!!! So be sure to cover your ears. BUT check this out!! Now you can’t see it with the flame but man the flame alone is impressive.

Now I can’t mention the Monster Jam without talking about the 4 wheeler race and jumps. Oh my gosh!! The jumps were insanely incredible and a site to see!! The kids jaws dropped. It was crazy. Check out this little mini high lights video from the show. Your gonna want to get tickets after this.

Wasn’t that fabulous. If you’ve never been to the Monster Trucks it’s an exhilarating experience you’ll want to take in again and again. During the show there is truck fumes, smoke, and loud noise. The doors are opened periodically to clear the air. They take intermission and move the track around. There’s always something to do, watch, and see.

The drivers love interacting with the crowd. They get out of their trucks and wave and they even talk with the announcer. They came up into the audience and gave away some really great items to lucky attenders. My kids were so excited to see that they come out to the audience. At the end of the show they even tossed out t-shirts which was really cool.
