There was nothing more fun than decorating Easter Eggs in the days leading up to that joyous holiday we call Easter. While we know that Easter has a whole spiritual meaning we tend to take advantage of the Egg coloring crafting activities because they are a fun activity our family enjoys. In years past we’ve shared family Easter Egg festivities there’s nothing more joyous than being able to give back during this time of year. Heinz Vinegar and PAAS has partnered with the Make-A-Wish Foundation to bring you an Easter Egg Decorator app and online activity that will sure to bring a smile to your face and many others by sharing a little Egg decorating fun.
With each Egg that is decorated by March 31, 2013, $1 will be donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Virtual Egg decorating is totally free, fun, and a great way to donate to a Egg-ceptionally great cause.
What can you do with your online decorated Egg?
Share it with others of course. Email it to a friend, co-worker, family member or tweet it out to all your fans and let them know how easy it is to give out Easter Egg smiles this Easter.

Now onto the messy part. We were sent to review a fun Easter egg decorating kit filled with goodies from PAAS and HEINZ.
We’ve been using PAAS and Heinz for years, probably ever since I was a child. I love that these brands are still around for egg decorating with my little one’s. Best part is they’ve come out with some fun new kits that really create a whole new experience for Egg Decorators.
Americans decorate more than 180,000,000 eggs during the Easter season. This year, PAAS has seven new egg decorating kits, including Volcano Eggsplosion, a kit that uses melted crayon shavings to provide instant color and Touch of Velvet, a kit that uses double stick adhesives and flocking powder to create fun, fuzzy shapes on your Easter creations! Be sure to read directions before you begin using these kits. They do require special steps before use such as using hot boiled eggs to melt crayon wax.
For the brightest, most vivid colors, add one tablet and three tablespoons of Heinz Distilled White Vinegar to a PAAS Color Cup or a one-cup container. Once the tablet has dissolved, add ½ cup water and stir gently. Also, to help keep hard-cooked eggs from cracking, add two tablespoons of Heinz Distilled White Vinegar per quart of water before placing the eggs in the pot. The shells will also peel off faster and easier when they’re done.
We love the Paas color cups because they are the perfect size for egg decorating. They are measured on the inside of the cup so you know exactly how much water to fill before adding distilled vinegar and color tablet.
Paas egg decorating kits can be found at most major grocery stores, drug and mass merchants. Average price for kits is around $4.25.
