Home Lighting Makeover Reveals True Colors #GELighting

I always thought when we purchased our home we would have enough light coming in the windows that we wouldn’t have to worry about dull lighting.  After living in this house 10 years I think I finally realized that is a problem. We are in need of a home lighting makeover.  As part of my partnership with GE, I received coupons for my GE light bulbs. All opinions posted about my GE Lighting experience are my own.  It’s dark and dull in here but it doesn’t have to be and I’m hoping that changing out the light bulbs will make the difference in the colors and patterns seen in the room. There’s lot of way to spruce up a room and make it eye appealing by adding a splash of color or eye catching details. You can spend hours painting or just take a few simple steps to enhancing the lighting by adding proper lighting could be all you’ll need.  You’ll find a whole new space that sure to delight the naked eye and friends that come to visit.

First of all take a look at your room.  I took a look at the room and decided what I needed. My kitchen has always been a room that I pull the shades up immediately when I enter the room in the morning.  I love natural daylight. Since the sun rises on the back end of the house we don’t really get much sunlight coming into the kitchen until late after noon.

In order to brighten things up I would need a few things for the kitchen so off to Walmart I went.  Shopping at Walmart with a preschooler who wants just about everything is never fun, so words of advice know what you need before going in and shop fast.

I knew about what I was looking for so I headed straight for the isles where I’d find kitchen linen.  I’d hope to find a Easter tablecloth or  perhaps some place mats to brighten up the table a bit.  Since March just arrived barely a week ago and Easter isn’t until the end of the month. It looks as if  our local Walmart hasn’t begun the transition to the Easter holiday and seasonal decor just yet.

The next place I began to look was the lighting department. If I could find lighting that would help to make a difference in my dull kitchen then that would be the perfect solution. I came across GE Reveal Light bulbs and was excited to give them a try.  I’ve always heard that the right light bulbs can make a whole world of difference in a rooms atmosphere and this could be the key.

Note to self need this bulbs in the bathroom, too!! The lighting in there is so dull.

This is my kitchen before switching out the light bulb. As you can see there is light but it dulls the room and the colors of the food.

After only switching the bulb to the GE Reveal you can clearly see the difference in not only the lighting in the room but the fruit on the table.

It’s just amazing the difference in lighting that you can see with the naked eye. Here’s a side by side comparison.

The lighting has changed the ambiance in the kitchen. The room reminds me of the brightness in a sunrises. Full of color full of life. The colors of the fruit looks so much more vibrant and appetizing in the after GElighting Home lighting makeover. Don’t you agree? GE lighting brings out the true natural colors in life.
