International Home and Housewares Show Product Spotlight #IHHS2013

The International Home and Housewares show offers a grand opportunity for retailers and Housewares marketeers to get a look first hand at what consumers product trends for inside and outside of the home. The show is not open to the general public but I was given the opportunity to  attend the show so that I can share my experience and initial thoughts with all of you.  This was the first year I had attended the International Home and Housewares show and I have to say it was a honor to have a experience the show and have a look at all the exciting products on the market now and those to coming to stores near you in 2013.  I spoke with product reps watched many demos and really got a feel for what products are going to help so many consumers be efficient while cooking and entertaining in the kitchen, organize and improve their homes, home healthcare, conserve energy and so much more.

Let’s get to the exciting stuff and my top picks for the home this year. FYI I wasn’t able to stop at every single booth at the show nor was I able to make it to every single vender the Housewares show covered. There were so many wonderful vender I’m really disappointed I didn’t get a chance to experience them all.  I really wish there were more hours in the day, less walking, and more days in my schedule to attend. I may try to head back tomorrow but until then here’s what I experienced thus far.

KEURIG

Not just for coffee lovers

You may have heard of Keurig single cup brewing stations before but you’ve don’t know the best part about these awesome machines. They not only can brew the most delicious cup of coffee (per my father in law) but you can also get a delicious variety flavors of Ice Tea, Hot Chocolate, and now Lemonade (best lemonade ever) ! Well over 250+ options to rock your taste buds morning noon and night! I enjoyed a delicious cup of brewed Iced Snapple Lemonade at the Keurig Station which took me under 2 minutes to make and I’m still thinking about how tasty it was and can’t stopping talking about it to everyone I know.

If your loving Cappuccino and Latte’s you’ll have to check out the brand new Rivo Cappuccino and latte System by Keurig. You’ll brew espresso and froth any type of milk with the touch of a button! It’s a revolutionary experience.

These fabulous machines now come in color options to match your home decor, office atmosphere and even your summer home. Topped with a bow they make great gifts. (hint! hint! Mine and hubby’s 9 yr Anniversary is today!)

COOKWARE /BAKEWARE

If you love to cook or bake in the kitchen then you’ll just love the new colorful selection of  Paula Deen’s bakeware and cookware. What a beautiful wall it was. What color would you choose? There was so much to see I would of loved to snap a picture of it all.

KITCHENAID

Get ready for Kitchenaid to knock your socks off cause this wall had me wanting to bake a cake, make pasta, and learn how to cook from scratch.

See the frosted bowls at the top they are new and very popular. Watch for the new colors to come out from Kitchenaid Stand Mixers this year. My favorite is still the burgundy.  Whats yours?

SODA STREAM

Cold Beverage options at home just got larger with Soda Stream. The machine now come in colorful new options and they are adding more and more beverage options this year. Look for Crystal light, Kool-aid, Country time and more soda flavors.

REMINGTON

The Remington ilight Pro will be on the market this year. It hasn’t been released yet but you can start looking forward to at home hair removal system. We’ve been huge fans of Remington and I can’t wait to test this baby out. Lord knows shaving is a pain and to be hair free for 6months after 3 treatments would be a great time saver from shaving in the shower.

Cake Boss

Football fans will just scream for a touchdown as they enjoy this fun designed cake by the Cake Boss. Pretty creative don’t you agree?

There were so many other products that I would love to spotlight each and everyone of them but my time at the show was limited to one day and I was not able to make my way around the whole show. Next year I certainly will be putting aside the whole weekend. It such a wonderful opportunity to see all the brand new products hitting the market and getting a first hand look at them.
