Mariano’s Fresh Market Provides a Whole New Shopping Experience

Mariano’s Fresh Market just celebrated with a Grand opening in Frankfort, IL. Providing a whole new way to shop for consumers customers will be delighted at the meal options to grocery options to put food on the table. We not only were surprised at the amount of food service stations that Mariano’s offered but we wished we wait until lunch to shop.

The food options for quick meals seemed almost endless. Beverage Service stations from healthy drink options to premium coffee and even ice cream shakes will satisfy the young and young at heart.

Upon entering the store you can see all of the delicious fruits, vegetables and food service stations. Everything looked so fresh and ready to eat. Our first stop was at the fruit bar to fill up on watermelon, melon, pineapple and fresh grapes. A perfect start to any morning.

From there you can just look around the store and see the Sushi bar, Bakery, Soup island, sandwich station, Todd’s BBQ and more. The ready to eat and prepared meal options seemed to be endless. Made us both wish we came hungry. Mariano’s provides seating in a beautiful atrium with sunlight coming in from the large front windows. A great place to sit and enjoy a meal.

I couldn’t believe all of the Hot and Cold menu items available. I think we could head back over 50 times and never have the same meal twice. Sandwiches, to meal sides, fresh roasted chicken, fresh made pizza, chicken dishes, Italian meal options, pasta salads,   salads and so much more.  They even had a Gelato bar. I had to get the Coconut it’s delicious.

Do you love steak? You have to check out the Butcher shop in the rear of the store. Not only are there so many fresh cut options and butchers on hand to serve you but they even have a chef to grill your steak while you shop.

From fresh cuts of beef, chicken, and fish too Marino’s has something for everyone.

One of the other things that we really loved about this market is that the isles were wide. The signage was clear and the sale signs were hung from the ceiling so that you wouldn’t miss the fabulous sales they were having.

This store is certainly going to be dream come true for many of it’s busy and on the go local residents. By signing up for the Mariano’s Rewards program you won’t miss out on bargain buys and great deals. Sign up is super easy at the kiosks in the isle near the frozen food section. It’s an easy to operate touch screen and there’s even an employee there to help you. Just grab a rewards card from an employee and follow the prompts on the screen.

So I bet you want to know what I purchased.  Not enough. We raided the fresh salad bar and loaded up a container of fruit. Then we filled up a bowl of fresh hot homemade Chicken and dumpling soup. we almost couldn’t decide between that and the Potato bacon soup. That smelled delicious as well as the other optional flavors, too.  Of course we couldn’t pass up on dessert at the Gelato shop. You have to try Coconut. It was delicious!!

As we walked around the store and even picked up a freshly baked doughnut with frosting and fruit loop’s for our preschooler.

We also grabbed a few other odds and ends that we needed. We can’t wait for Mariano’s to open in locally but until then we certainly will be making another trip back soon. View our complete shopping trip with even more photos on Google+.
