Hexbug Nano V2 Black Hole is the ultimate free fall experience for your Hexbug. Kids will love watching hexbugs climb to an incredible 180  degree climb follow the tunnel in and around up and down and even drop a free fall and continue the journey. Hexbug Nano is an all new breed that can vertically explore every level you can create.

There are 58 pieces that connect together in several different variations that offer hours of fun and play. My boys absolutely loved their hexbugs sets from past reviews we’ve done here on the Night Owl Mama. Hexbugs mimic the moves of real bugs they wiggle and vibrate forward and make their way around the tracks. The bugs climb up and around the tubes and my boys and I have built several different configurations and have sat for hours watching these little robotic creatures travel around and climb in and out of the tunnels and fall into the black hole and continue on.

The HEXBUG Nano V2 is an all new breed of gravity defying HEXBUG Nanos! These Nano V2 bugs can now climb up vertically, horizontally, around corners, through loops and tubes, to the tip top of any Nano V2 habitat set. This product line features an evolved Nano, sporting a new look, with three rubber spines on its back, as well as a new system of tubular tracks that highlight the Nano V2’s unique multi-level climbing abilities. The HEXBUG Nano V2 is a tiny, micro robotic creature that uses the physics of vibration to scurry up through multiple levels of tubes, as high as the V2 set will take it, to explore its environment. The quick little critter possesses an uncanny sense of balance, capable of crawling through tubes on its feet or on its back, and can pass another bug in a single tube to avoid a traffic jam! The Nano V2 will even flip to its feet when landing on its back on an open flat surface.

I really loved helping the boys put together the hexbug black hole.  It didn’t take too long and by following the picture on the box. I made several other configurations that worked well too.  It was a lot of fun watching the hexbugs climb up and down the tunnels. They do sometimes flip on their side and get stuck in the tunnels which didn’t bother my boys.  I did notice that when the battery’s started getting low the hexbugs didn’t climb as well and once flipping on their sides didn’t flip over as easy.  All in all after replacing the batteries we had hours, days of fun watching these little robotic creatures climb and fall into the black hole.  My boys can’t wait to get more sets to connect and even more nano’s to add to their already large collection.
