Halloween party planning is in high gear. Kids have been talking about Trick or treating for months now and it’s finally on the way. Just two weeks and we’ll be having one of the biggest family get together bashes of the year. In addition the biggest anticipated film Hunger Games will be hitting the big screen next month! My daughter is obsessed with Hunger Games Katniss Everdeen and the way she protects her self with a bow and arrow. Renaissance costumes are big influence when it comes to archery. We found a really great Archery costume at AnytimeCostumes.com.
The costumes comes with hooded cape, tunic dress, gauntlets and belt. My daughter had boots that went well with Archer costume. There’s gold trim around the hood which matches with the gold trim on the belts and wrist covers.
It fits perfectly according to the size chart and all the pieces are made very well. The cape isn’t thick or going to keep her warm but for indoor party it will be perfect. It will be easy for her to put a long sleeve shirt on underneath it to keep her warm if it should get chilly.
Here’s the cape from the back. As you can see it’s a pretty good length. My daughter stands about 5’3 and this comes down past her waist and her covers her rear. It’s made of crushed velvet and lays very nicely.
You can see by the smile on her face that’s she’s really excited about the way this Renaissance Costume looks and feels. Even the the leggins, bow and arrow are not included you can see she really doesn’t need them but if she would like them to complete the costume they are available for purchase on anytimecostumes.com.
