On Wednesday we gathered up the kids and drove out to Dave and Busters for what was proven to be one of the most entertaining nights we’ve had all winter. It’s hard being couped up in the house when it’s so cold out and a night out at Dave and Busters was just what our family needed. We were excited to check out the fabulous Eat, play, Win Combo specials. The manager gave me a little tip and mentioned that they have 1/2 price game night on Wednesday and with having 4 kids we wanted to make sure that we took advantage of the discounted game play which would make our money go even further.

When we first arrived we were seated for dinner. We were seated immediately and the server came by to get our drink order and informed us of the specials. There was a fairly large birthday party going on at the table next to ours but since they were off playing games made me think about how fun it would be to host my son’s next party here. We ordered fairly quickly and loved the large selection on the menu. We started off with appetizers. You can’t go wrong with Cheese sticks and Poppin Potatoes.

The menu has everything from soup, salads, burgers, chicken, fish, steaks, sandwiches, appetizers, and desserts. With the eat play win combo you chose from any of the 8 entree’s and you get a power card along with 100 tickets.

We couldn’t resist ordering burgers and the girls ordered chicken strips with fries. Everything was really tasty and the food came out pretty quickly.

*Warning this will make you hungry

Love the presentation of the french fries in the little container. I do have to add that they were a bit salty and it seemed like all of ours were the same. We had to brush a bit of the salt off before we ate them but they were good.

After our meal we were off to play games. The kids love having their cards preloaded with tokens. It makes it so much easier when the waitress loaded them and handed them to us. No waiting in lines and we knew each one of the kids had the same amount off tokens.

The kids couldn’t get enough of all the game options. The love the virtual games as well as the ride on options. My boys were obsessed with anything racing and with a little bit of help from daddy even my little guy was able to ride like the pro’s.

The girls were more interested in games that can win them tickets. They found their favorite game and seemed to stick by it most of the night. Funny how different girls can be from boys.

At the end of the night the girls went and turned in their tickets and they both walked out with some nice prizes. The kids played games for well over 2 hours. You know when you can take 4 kids out for a night of food and fun that it usually will cost a small fortune but not at Dave n Busters. With the Eat, Play, Win Combo and the bonus cards along with the half price game night our night out was certainly a winning Combo and a memorable night of family fun. We all had a great time.

You want a huge laugh? Check out this great video I took of my boys on one of the virtual rides at Dave and Busters. It’s hysterical. It’s located on Instagram http://instagram.com/p/hzeAkEBYpS/ unfortunately there’s no way to embed it here. I promise it’s a must see.

Many Thanks for Dave and Busters for having us out and many thanks to usfamilyguide.com for the opportunity. We’ll be seeing you again for Eat. Play, Win, Combo deal real soon.
