Is NETFLIX a Part of Your Daily Conversation?
I was standing in the grocery story yesterday and over heard a conversation between this couple. They were discussing what they were going to do that evening and mentioned Netflix. Then I was in 7Eleven this morning and the cashier was telling his friend about this show he watched on Netflix last night and how awesome it was. Then continued to ask me if I subscribed because it’s way cheaper than Cable or going to the movies. I just laughed and said that I loved Netflix. That conversation got me thinking about how many times I actually hear people talking about what they watch on Netflix. Two of cousins tagged themselves Friday night on Facebook that they were binge watching Gilmore Girls on Netflix.
I always share what I’m watching on Netflix tagging #StreamTeam because I am an Amabassador for Netflix and this is where our group shares all our posts, ideas, shows we are watching, upcoming surprises from Netflix and what you can expect from Netflix in the next coming months. It’s a great place to go to when you can’t decide what you want to watch and need ideas of what shows may interest you or which shows to stay away from.
I tried out the Gilmore Girls. It was just added to Netflix 11/25. I watched 3 episodes. Each episode was 1 1/2 hours long! During that show I realized 3 things.
1. There’s a lot going on with each of the characters.
2. Drama, Drama, Drama.
3. This show just isn’t for me.
I couldn’t understand why so many people love it and for this reason I had to give it a fair shake and watch atleast three episodes. Almost 2 hours for just 1 episode is a lot for me. I like to binge watch. I can do an hour. I can do a few hours but it seemed like there was so much going on and so much drama that it was a bit hard to follow.
Do you watch the Gilmore Girls? What do you love about the show?
This month I’ve binge watched on a few shows. I watched 2 seasons of the REVOLUTION. This show is about what happens with all the electricity is pulled and people have to learn to live without cars, airplanes, cellphones, etc. You get pulled into the characters, storyline, and the fight to get freedom and figure out hwo to turn the electricty turned on. The second season things turned a bit weird you find out that the electricity was being drained in the air by this computer program that was created and the program took over your mind, people’s bodies, and could even heal sick people. I can understand why the 3rd season was never picked up. All in all it was great to watch. I’d recommended it.
I also binge watched the 3rd season of The 100. This show was so awesome. I remember watching Seasons 1 and 2 on regular television but I might of missed a few episodes. With Netflix adding Season 3 and still hosting Seasons 1 & 2 I can refresh my momory of the earlier seasons and catch up on what I missed then continue on to watch Season 3!
A few weeks ago my son came to me all excited. He found a new show to watch on Netflix and said he couldn’t wait to show his friend Charlie when he came over. He found Skylanders Academy. He was super excited and wanted me to sit down and watch an episode with him. I loved seeing his excitement for the show and the characters and this sparked him to play with his Skylanders Game on Xbox.
He hasn’t played with Skylander Trap Team on Xbox in months. I was super excited to see his interest in this again because of the show. Thank you Netflix.
Looking forward to the winter months and more exciting shows from Netflix.
Until Next Time….. Make Netflix a part of your Daily Conversation. What do you watch on Netflix? I might want to check it out.
