Fascinated with Magic, Magicians and Card tricks Netflix has got the shows to watch. My daughter has been fascinated with Magic since she was little. The mystery of it all has always intrigued her and she was super excited to find a couple of show on Netflix to watch. So excited that the shows that she watched inspired her to do a few Magic Card tricks for us.

After watching Season one of  Breaking the Magician’s Code she really wanted a deck of Magic Cards. I actually found a kit at our local 5 Below shop. Bree was super excited to be able to perform some tricks for the whole family. She’s even taken the cards to school and performed a few tricks for her friends.

Are you ready? Pick a Card! Any Card.

I selected a card. You know what’s really funny about this card. #1 It’s one of my favorite numbers and #2 My favorite color and suit. How freeky is that?

Now it was time to put it back in the deck and shuffle them up.

Remember Your Card

Do you see my card? I see it right in the middle almost hidden, but I see it.

Is this your card? I smiled. I didn’t have the heart to tell her no. We both laughed.

The last 10x she did this trick with me she was always spot on. I’d have to contribute the error to bad lighting in the room. Either way it was fun and entertaining and she has a beautiful smile. Don’t you agree?

Her favorite show in the past month has been Breaking the Magician’s Code: Magic’s Biggest Secrets finally revealed. There’s 2 Season’s on Netflix which means hours and hours of mind blowing secrets revealed. Some of these tricks you’d never guess that’s exactly how they execute them. It really is a fascinating show.  What’s really great about shows like this is that the whole family can watch them. The tricks they perform, the disappearing acts, and so much more. Each episode is about 43 minutes long.

Other shows she’s been hooked on are Adrien Brody Houdini and Brain Games. She really loves to watch Brain Games, too.  There’s four Season’s of Brain Games and I’ve sat and watched several episodes with her. It’s amazing what you can learn about the brain from this show. How the mind works at remembering things, How your brain can be fooled by certain smells and sounds, its really interesting information and we both have had some crazy wild conversations watching this show. A great way to connect with my teenager is to have the same interests and this show creates hours of conversation for us.

Can’t get enough of Magic, Magicians and want to know more Netflix has a incredible line up of shows to watch.
