Can you believe June is almost over? Crazy isn’t it? Before we know it July will be here and the smell of Barbecue will be in the air while we all celebrate Independence Day. Before that happens I have a lot of work to do in the yard to prepare. I’ve been spending a lot of time in the yard pulling weeds, cutting grass, and a bit of landscaping. My allergies have been flaring up and it makes it even harder to get through the tasks at hand.

Itchy watery eyes, runny stuffy nose, occasional cough with a scratchy throat can all be symptoms related to allergies. My son, my husband and my self are currently suffering from most these symptoms. We are spending more time outdoors playing sports, attending parties, going for evening walks allergies can flare up at anytime. We are finding relief with over the counter medications found at our local CVS Pharmacy.

These CVSHealth Children’s Allergy relief Pops temporarily soothes itchy throat, sneezing, runny nose, itchy, watery eyes, and itching of the nose and throat. They come in grape flavor which makes them appealing to the kids. My sons says they smell funny but they taste good. Any relief sometimes can be good relief. My son likes them and he says they make him feel feel better.

They come individually wrapped too. Which means you can throw some in your purse or beach bag or keep some in the car for use when your child needs them.

Typically I walk around daily with allergies. Year after year things seem to get worse. In the last week I’ve had burning, itchy dry eyes even indoors. My nose mostly is stuffy and occasionally I get that tickle in my throat and then cough. So annoying. I’ve just started using CVS Health Fluticasone Propionate Nasal Spray, USP. This offers 24 hour relief of my symptoms and so far so good. It’s not the most comfortable feeling when using it but it works.

The value pack has 2 bottles of 120 metered sprays with 50 mcg per spray (glucocorticoid). Relieves indoor and outdoor allergies as well as animal allergens.

The box says it’s for use with children 4 yr old to 11 yrs old as well as Adults and children 12 yr old and up. Always read direction when using medication and consult CVS Pharmacy or your physician when you have questions regarding medications.

Getting relief from allergies and being able to function through the summer is going to be a piece a cake this year. I’m already feeling better.

Sometimes it can be hard to tell the difference between a summer cold and allergies – that’s why it’s so great to just pop into a CVS Minute Clinic to get some symptoms checked out instead of trying to get a last minute appointment with your doctor.

Check out CVS online for some more specifics:  and don’t forget to download the CVS Pharmacy app to check for the closest MinuteClinic locations, check wait times, make appointments, and even hold your place in line until you get there! It’s easy to use and so convenient.

Have a great week. Thanks for stopping by.

I did not know they had Children’s Allergy relief Pops. This would be a great way for kids to get some relief from allergy symptoms.
