Despicable Me 3 Now in Theaters #DespicableMe3 Printable #ActivitySheets
Despicable Me 3 is now in theaters and I bet you can’t wait to see it. I was invited to take my family to see an early screening on Tuesday night and the kids were super excited.
Disclosure: Universal Studios sent us a box of minion goodies to entertain the kids before the show, gift card to take them out to dinner and press seats to see Despicable Me 3 early screening in the theater.
First I want to share a few details about Despicable Me 3 and the Trailer for your viewing enjoyment.
Illumination, who brought moviegoers Despicable Me and the biggest animated hits of 2013 and 2015, Despicable Me 2 and Minions, continues the story of Gru, Lucy, their adorable daughters—Margo, Edith and Agnes—and the Minions in Despicable Me 3.
After he is fired from the Anti-Villain League for failing to take down the latest bad guy to threaten humanity, Gru finds himself in the midst of a major identity crisis. But when a mysterious stranger shows up to inform Gru that he has a long-lost twin brother—a brother who desperately wishes to follow in his twin’s despicable footsteps—one former super-villain will rediscover just how good it feels to be bad.

Our Thoughts and Review of Despicable Me 3
We loved Despicable Me and Despicable Me 2. We couldn’t wait to see what Universal studios had in store for movie-goers with Despicable Me 3. Such a great story line and loved the new character additions. Gru meeting his brother Dru and teaching him the ropes and the family business. There’s several different story-lines wrapped up in one.
There’s lots of action and fun, and of curious humor. My kids just loved it and said it was funny. My little guy wanted more Minions and my daughter just loved the unicorn scene. Personally the added villain and the family connection really gave me the warm fuzzies as well as cracked me up. As a girl who grew up in the 80’s it was nice to see the refreshing villain who embarrassed them. Talk about funny.
I won’t give away too much of the movie cause I want you to go see it and form your own opinion. Take the kiddos and don’t forget the popcorn. Make a day of it like we did. Took the kids out to dinner and they loved talking about their funniest parts and parts the loved the most about the movie. My 11 yr old really doesn’t like watching movies but he says he liked this one. So that’s something coming from him.
Having dinner after the movie was a great way to connect and talk about the film with the kids. My kids are always on the go so it was really refreshing to spend time with them and sit and talk with no fighting.
Despicable Me 3 is about Family. It’s a feel good movie your sure to enjoy.
