Our Family

Welcome to The Night owl Mama. Where wise parents come for honest reviews. My Name is Tricia  and I’m the writer, editor and owner of The Night Owl Mama. We live near Chicago and love to travel as a family.  I use my free time to blog and write reviews and promote Company’s and Sponsors.

Want to contact me for a review or ad placement email me at nightowlmamablogs@gmail.com.  To Learn more about my family keep reading.

My husband and I will be happily married for 9 years as of March 13′. We both have a great sense of humor and he’s a hard working man. We spend evenings with our children playing games, doing school work and adding in fun where ever we can.

I am a stay at home working mom of 3 boys ages 4, 7, 23 and 1 girl age 12.   I enjoy blogging  and sharing my thoughts and opinions on products we use as a family.  I incorporate family photo’s, video’s and our thoughts into my reviews to help consumers make a more informed decision on products before they purchase them.  I only accept products that I feel our family would be a good fit for.  If by chance we no longer have use for a product we have reviewed we donate them to the charity or local shelters for abused, and battered women and children. I recently started to focus on exercise, getting fit, eating healthier and trying to organize my home.

My oldest son Ry is a college graduate of ITT Tech. He’s 23 and that’s not a typo. He loves playing video games especially Xbox 360 Live.  He Bowls on a league and now plays on a roller hockey team. He’s very techy and can pretty much work anything. He loves helping me out with reviews and pretty much gives me incite on anything I’m a bit confused on.  He currently is offering to take any review trips I can’t make and hopes that I’ll pay him to go and let him live her forever but that’s not going to happen. We all grow up sometime.

My daughter Bee  is 12 yrs old. She is very Artsy, loves crafts and  dancing as well as playing games. She’s is now in the 6th with straight A’s and enjoys school. She also enjoys quizzing me on history and things she learns in school although I don’t remember much from History class I was more of a Science major.  Like most 12 yr old girls she hates to clean her room but playing with her hair, painting her toe nails, playing volley ball and games on her Nintendo Dsi.

My son G is 7 yrs old and in First grade. He loves being competitive.  Loves racing, cars and truly has a heart of gold.  He shares just about everything he owns with his little brother and only complains a little. Okay a lot but he still shares and that’s what counts. He loves to clean his room and help me around the house. I hope that lasts all of his life. Sometimes he likes to think he’s the boss and I make sure he knows I’m  #1 boss and daddy is #2. My son G deals with allergies but we handling them day by day and were doing okay.

My son lil man is now a Preschooler aka Cranky pants and last member to be added to our family. He turns 5 this March. He’s a feisty one and hates to share. If big brother has it…. he wants it. He loves trains and cars and super heroes and is really starting to impress me with how smart he is. He’s learned so much with reading and electronics gaming. He’s certainly a mama’s boy and most of the time is attached to my hip but for now that’s okay with me because my babies grow up too quickly and like all mom’s I wish they can stay little forever. My lil’man is looking forward to going to kindergarten this fall and with a bit of encouragement and bribery I’m sure he’ll be excited to attend every day.

That’s everyone. Thanks for visiting hope you’ll stay and read some of the exciting articles here at The Night Owl Mama and for more fun exciting things about the Night Owl Mama check out our Youtube Channel where you’ll find lots of fun video’s and reviews staring us.
